DESCRIPTION:From the event website: \nThe “Mensch und Computer” (MuC) conference\, launched in 2001\, is the largest conference series on human-computer interaction in Europe. MuC offers participants from science and industry a platform for contributions and discussions on innovative forms of interaction between people and digital technology\, on human-centered development methods\, interactive applications\, and other topics in the field between users\, teams and communities on the one hand and information and communication technologies used on the other hand. The aim of the conference is to discuss innovative research results\, to promote the exchange of information between academia and practitioners\, to stimulate research activities and training\, and to sensitize science\, practice\, and the public to the relevance of human- and task-oriented technology design. Mainly English-language technical papers and their publication in the “ACM Digital Library” or “Digital Library of the GI” promote the worldwide visibility of the scientific results of MuC.

SUMMARY:WOSC 19th Congress 2024: Shaping collaborative ecosystems for tomorrow
DESCRIPTION:From the event website: \nThe WOSC 2024 Congress\, through the collaboration of the World Organisation of Systems and Cybernetics (WOSC) with other systemic and cybernetic organisations such as the United Kingdom Systems Society (UKSS) and the UK Cybernetic Society\, provides a platform to support interactions that support the construction of new meaning. It is a venue to open discussions on how CyberSystemics embraces modern technology avoids shortcomings of the past\, and activates Citizens\, to rethink Organisations\, to form smart societies\, and to co-design democracy with the goal of co-creating viable relationships within Planet Earth. \nWOSC 19th Congress extends an invitation to participants to delve into narratives that elucidate interactions of subjects following their leaders\, consumers entangled by the industry\, and active citizens\, grounding their exploration in the conceptual frameworks of the Viable System Model (VSM) and Ashby’s contributions to strategies for managing variety. \nCongress’s submissions are encouraged but not constrained by the following topics: \nEnhancing Active Citizenship and democratic processes\,\nIntegrating ecological\, social\, and economic dimensions of organizational governance and management\nCombining Physical\, Digital\, Natural\, and Artificial worlds into CyberSystemic ontologies\,\nLearning to develop new personal and organisational capabilities\,\nCyberSystemic examination of Interactions\, relationships\, and agents of change \n  \nLearn more about the submission process here.
